Keeping a vehicle clean is no longer just about washing the exterior. Today, more vehicle owners are paying attention to the interior, especially the dashboard, which is constantly exposed to sunlight, dust, and daily wear. Over time, these factors can cause the dashboard to fade, lose its original appearance, and become more difficult to maintain.
Recognizing this growing need, RJ London proudly introduces Dashboard Coating, a newly developed acrylic coating specially formulated to protect dashboard surfaces on both motorcycles and cars. Designed for everyday users as well as automotive enthusiasts, this latest product helps preserve the appearance of dashboard panels while providing an attractive water repellent effect that makes maintenance easier.
The launch of Dashboard Coating marks another step in RJ London's commitment to delivering innovative aerosol solutions for the automotive industry, combining ease of application with reliable performance.
Designed for Everyday Dashboard Protection
Unlike ordinary dashboard cleaners that simply remove dust and dirt, Dashboard Coating creates a protective acrylic layer on the dashboard surface. This coating helps maintain the original appearance of plastic interior panels while protecting them from environmental exposure during daily use.
Dashboard surfaces are among the most exposed components inside a vehicle. Every day, they absorb heat from direct sunlight through the windshield, collect dust particles, and come into contact with hands during regular driving. Without proper care, these surfaces gradually lose their original finish and begin to look dull.
Dashboard Coating has been developed to address this issue by providing a simple maintenance solution that is suitable for both new and older vehicles.
Whether used on a family car, a daily commuter motorcycle, or a premium vehicle, the product helps maintain a cleaner and more refined interior appearance without changing the natural texture of the dashboard itself.
Water Repellent Technology Inspired by Nature
One of the most notable features of RJ London Dashboard Coating is its water repellent technology.
Often described as the "lotus leaf effect," this technology allows water droplets to bead on the surface instead of spreading across it. As a result, moisture and light dirt are less likely to remain on the dashboard, making routine cleaning much faster and more convenient.
Besides improving ease of maintenance, the water repellent finish also helps keep the dashboard looking cleaner for longer periods between cleanings.
For vehicle owners who appreciate a neat and well-maintained interior, this feature offers an additional level of convenience in everyday driving.
Fast Drying Formula for Quick Application
Convenience was one of the main priorities during the development of Dashboard Coating.
The product features a fast drying acrylic formula, allowing users to complete the application within just a few minutes. There is no need for complicated equipment or professional detailing experience. Simply clean the dashboard surface, shake the aerosol can thoroughly, spray evenly from a distance of approximately 25 to 30 centimeters, and allow the coating to dry.
For even better coverage, multiple light coats are recommended instead of a single heavy application. This technique helps achieve a smoother and more uniform finish while maintaining the dashboard's original texture.
Because of its aerosol packaging, Dashboard Coating is also easy to store and convenient to carry, making it suitable for personal vehicle maintenance or professional detailing services.
Preserving the Original Dashboard Texture
Many dashboard treatment products available today leave behind an overly glossy finish or a sticky surface that attracts more dust over time. RJ London Dashboard Coating has been formulated differently.
Instead of masking the original material, it is designed to preserve the dashboard's authentic texture while improving its overall appearance. The result is a clean, fresh-looking dashboard that feels natural to the touch and remains comfortable during daily use.
This balanced finish makes the product suitable for modern vehicles where maintaining the factory appearance is often preferred over excessive shine.
Suitable for Motorcycles and Passenger Vehicles
Dashboard Coating is a versatile solution that can be used across different vehicle categories.
Motorcycle owners can use it to refresh faded dashboard plastics and surrounding trim panels, while car owners can apply it to dashboard surfaces and other compatible plastic interior components.
Its universal application makes Dashboard Coating an excellent choice for private vehicle owners, automotive detailing businesses, workshops, dealerships, and car care professionals seeking a practical maintenance solution.
Easy Five-Step Application
Using Dashboard Coating is straightforward.
First, clean the dashboard thoroughly to remove dust, grease, and loose contaminants. Shake the aerosol can for approximately one minute to ensure the acrylic formula is evenly mixed. Spray the product from a distance of 25 to 30 centimeters using smooth sweeping motions for consistent coverage. Allow the coating to dry for around two to three minutes before applying additional light coats if desired. After use, simply invert the can and spray for a few seconds to clear the nozzle and maintain optimal spray performance for future applications.
This simple process makes Dashboard Coating accessible even for first-time users.
